First timers here, but we were very happy with our experience. Staff was friendly and thoroughly explained their chick policy. Impressed at the option to bring in a mis-sexed pullet for rehoming should an unexpected rooster emerge. I loved being able to call and give them my "Chick Wish List" to see what dates all breeds were available. It was worth the 8 hour drive into Fort Collins to avoid having chicks sent to our post office; I'm unsure about how well our's handles live chick deliveries (I've heard horror stories about some) but I would be horrified if any didn't make it. We will be back for our next batch of chicks, when the time comes!

Got a couple of day old chicks for my broody hen and the folks here could not have been nicer! They were really helpful in answering my questions, the chicks are adorable, and my hen is happy! They also have so many great options for chicken scratch and treats! Didn’t know about this place until the other day what a great local shop! Will be switching to them for my future poultry care purchases :)

We bought our chicks here. We also get our chicken feed here. They also have a small quantity of hay. Nice folks. Fast, down home friendly service.

DO NOT BUY CHICKS HERE! Showed up to pickup a silkie to join the other 11 chicks that we had picked up the same day this chick did not make it 7 days so I called in the following week. I was understanding that the silkies are a very delicate breed, but when I called they said to come in on Friday. After this I call in Friday morning, they said they had low stock and that they couldn’t hold any for me, so I hurried and hit the road. I than placed another call while on my way there they had told me there was 5 left, when I arrived they told me that they were special order only and that I couldn’t have one. Eventually they offered me two that were two weeks old so I took them. Both times they did not let me pick my chick and while I was on my way home I looked and they gave me a chick that had a purple mark on its head. Their claim was that this meant the chick had been sexed but from what it seemed they sent me home with a sick chick. This second chick didn’t make it 48 hours. I have one from them that is still alive, but only time will tell. With a 33% survival rate I would highly recommend you buy your chicks elsewhere this is the only time in years that I’ve experienced not gettin

Great place to get chicks. I have always gotten healthy chicks from here and they usually have a good selection. Even in late fall and winter, they will have a few varieties to choose from when most other places do not. They are also very good at accurately keeping track of the breeds they are selling, which the bigger farm stores don't always do well. Their prices for chicks are really reasonable, even for the rarer breeds.
